Canva is a design platform that offers a range of design tools including a business card maker and its AI design tool (which it calls “Magic Design”).

You can see from the above that Canva’s business card templates are more likely to have photos in them and less likely to have logos. This makes them feel more basic and budget, which might work for some brands.

On Canva, you can also upload a logo (if you already have one) to use on your business card.

But when we tried this logo upload feature, it didn’t look very good (with cropping issues and color-matching issues) …

VistaPrint is one of the largest digital print companies in the world - and one of their specialities is business cards.

VistaPrint does not offer any AI design and the business card templates on VistaPrint (like the ones above) feel very average and dated.

You can upload your logo onto VistaPrint, but the results aren’t very good (the business card colors don’t even match the uploaded logo) …

When it comes to business cards, Vistaprint isn’t really about great design or AI - but they’re good at printing. Vistaprint offers various options and fair prices for business card print. But if you’re looking for a free business card download option, Vistaprint don’t offer that and you’ll want to stick with Design.com or Canva.

Venngage is a small design platform startup that specializes in infographics but they also offer an AI business card generator and a range of business card templates in their library.

Venngage’s AI business card generator is a little slower to load than the other platforms and it only generates one design option. But we thought the design was nice!

Venngage loses points because they don’t offer print.

The Adobe Express design platform offers business card templates as one of its products - but it only just scrapes into this top 5 list of best business card generators.

There’s an argument that Adobe Express is not really a business card “generator” as you can’t enter a prompt or a business name and have Adobe Express “generate” anything new.

I actually thought about changing this list to a “top 4” but kept it at 5 with Adobe Express here because it is still has business card design tool with a library of templates, they offer free templates and the design of the templates is solid.
